Christiane Schimmel lives in Viersen (Mönchengladbach) and was born in Düsseldorf 1968.
She started her creative career as a graphic designer and had successfully studied indoor architecture.
Working in a figurative way did not give her the answer to her needs.
She started to work as a portrait artist , soon she found out that this was not the "right thing".

After this period she started to examine with colors and density and created a own abstract style by using elementary forms in compositions
She sold many paintings.

Now in 2004 she found the answer which led her to her current style.

           

The egoism and coldness of the society doesn't leave anybody unaffected.
It appears positive and most bearable once it gets into forms and colors.
